A small practice working mainly on high-end houses: new builds, renovations and interior design. I was hands-on with projects from the concept phase through to construction, and gained my first real experience of interior design.
2019–2020
A large practice of more than 400 people. I worked at the concept design stage, on facade design and presentation work for large commercial projects in China.
2015–2017
A small practice, where my work covered every stage of a project, from the concept through the council submission to the working drawings, including time on site with clients and contractors.
2014–2015
My first practice. I drafted drawings from the concept stage through to council and working drawings.

Straight out of university I joined the family business, which imported and distributed Asian food across South Africa, when it needed help. I did the bookkeeping, oversaw the staff and handled general management.
